Muesli + Mumm-ra to set the mood of the day

an awesome breakfast with equally awesome music to start the day!
now, to tackle those darn weeds...

Quote for the day

Cartoons, feel good music, my dog, a heaping bowl of fruits and vegetables....
or simply subtracting,
let' say...a couple of years off my age....

Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

This cake is currently my favorite!
              I'm sorry "dark chocolate cake".....

grated sweet carrots, possibly, coveted by the Easter Bunny
morsels of crunchy toasted walnuts in every bite,
the heady aroma of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg wafting in the air,
a dolloping layer of of sweet and sour velvety cream cheese,
the moist cake crumbling underneath a meringue-like crust,
and a dusting of powdered sugar to cap it all off.

I have been found sneaking a slice at night.....
crammed in front of the fridge with the door open,
shhh......

Original recipe is from "The Bourke Street Bakery" at Sydney, Australia...I made a few changes
